Xintai Refractory’s Zirconia Corundum Bricks (AZS Bricks) are premium high-performance refractory bricks primarily used in the glass industry. They are composed of high-purity aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), industrial zirconia (ZrO₂), and silicon dioxide (SiO₂), forming a strong, dense, and thermally stable material after melting and cooling in an electric furnace. The bricks exhibit a eutectoid structure of zirconia corundum and plagioclase with a glass phase filling the inter-crystal gaps, providing exceptional resistance to molten glass corrosion, thermal shock, and high-temperature wear.
