Xintai Special High Alumina Brick is a high-performance neutral refractory brick with approximately 85% Al₂O₃ content and excellent thermal properties. With a refractoriness above 1770°C, this brick demonstrates outstanding thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance, and structural stability under extreme conditions.
Manufactured from high-quality bauxite or synthetic materials such as fused alumina, industrial alumina, and mullite, LZ-85 bricks are shaped and calcined through precise processes to ensure consistent quality and durability. They are widely used in regenerative chamber checker bricks of open-hearth furnaces, as well as in nozzle bricks and plugs for steel casting systems.

Key Features
High Refractoriness: Withstands temperatures over 1770°C.
Strong Thermal Stability: Resists cracking under repeated heating and cooling cycles.
Excellent Slag Resistance: Withstands acidic and basic slags, ideal for harsh environments.
Low High-Temperature Creep: Maintains structural integrity under load at high temps.
High Strength: Cold crushing strength ≥ 80 MPa for mechanical durability.
Stable Mineral Composition: Contains mullite and corundum phases, enhancing high-temp performance.
Typical Applications
Special High Alumina Bricks are suitable for:
Regenerative checker bricks in open-hearth furnaces
Plugs and nozzles in steel casting systems
Linings of electric arc furnaces, cement rotary kilns, and glass furnaces
Ladle linings and steel reheating furnaces
Areas requiring high strength and erosion resistance at high temperatures
Production Details
Special High Alumina Brick are made from selected high-alumina bauxite, synthetic mullite, and fused alumina. The raw materials are finely ground, proportioned, and shaped using high-pressure forming equipment. They are then fired at high temperatures in modern kilns to ensure excellent crystallinity and density. Based on application needs, we also produce T-shape bricks, G-shape bricks (for blast furnaces), and custom-shaped refractory components.

Packing and Shipping Details
Packaging: Wooden pallets with plastic film wrapping and edge protection

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What is the maximum working temperature of special high alumina bricks?
These bricks can operate reliably up to 1770°C and beyond under suitable furnace conditions.
Q2: Can special high alumina bricks resist both acidic and basic slags?
Yes. As a neutral refractory, they have good resistance to both acidic and alkaline slags.
Q3. Do you offer shaped and special-size bricks?
Absolutely. We offer customized shapes such as nozzle bricks, checker bricks, and G/T-type bricks.
Q4: Is a free sample available?
Yes. Free samples are available for testing. Please contact our sales team to arrange delivery.
